The Guardian has dedicated a scripture to the team of Stade de Reims, also assigning special importance to the transfer of Arber Zenel.

The prestigious British newspaper points to the fact that Reims last year was competing in League 2 C.E. 2 championship division in French football, while now dreams of Europe, broadcast Insport.

Reims found it difficult to adapt to the high level at the beginning of the season, but now he is invincible in 10 matches.

One of the biggest surprises in French football, besides the fall of Monaco, is the rise of Reims and their dream of touching Europe.

The team, promoted in the first French football league, began the season, winning the first two matches, but then suffered a deep decline, not achieving a victory in eight matches. Last summer, players like Jordan Siebatcheu and Diego Rigonato lost, with the latter being elected the year's player in Ligue 2, and it seemed the club would fail to replace the double.

They signed with their left defender, Ghislain Konan for a record record set for the club, and with the Moussa Doumbia side, but nearly all the other reinforcements were untested at the high levels.

But to say that things have changed since the beginning of 2019 would be humiliating. Only Leelle and PSG have scored more goals this year. After their last victory with a score of 4:2 on the trip to Montpellier (to the team that has suffered only nine goals at home) Reims is now without a loss in 10 matches, and a better performance is only the Juvenous Barcelona on top of five European leagues.

They now rank 6th in the table of Ligue 1 with 41 points, only two points short of the 4th position, currently held by Saint-Etienne.

Reims also has the 3rd best protection in the league, with only 24 goals suffered, until goalkeeper Edouard Mendy has the most match without taking a goal of a total of 11.

According to The Guardian, the club has been reinforced with the “Kosovo intriguing attacker, Arber Zenel, and now has a large number of talented players of the attack available”.

The British newspaper writes that now, with this force of attack, Reims can pressure teams like Marseilles and Saint-Etienne for a six-ball seat.

As they will face Leellen and PSG, in the rest of the season, there are high expectations for Reims that the odds for Europe are more than real.

Fans will think they were close to European races in the 2013-14 season before they suffered a decline under the direction of Hubert Fournier, but that team had negative goals for most of the season. This team looks much better built for the ongoing battles.
