The Turin-based club is currently second in the league after 16 matches, with points equal to the leader of the Inter league, but behind the goal margin by five. A victory tonight is vital if they want to keep pressure on “Nerazours”, playing Genoa this weekend.
Sampdoria, on the other hand, is struggling to distance herself from the danger zone. Their victory over Genova last weekend has seen them rise to 16th in the league, but they are only two points ahead of 18th place where Brescia stands.
