The future ruling coalition, the Vetevendosje Movement and the Democratic League of Kosovo, has been changed to the composition in the Republic of Kosovo Assembly, following PZAP's decision to lift from the final outcome of votes coming from Serbia.
The most damaged party after this decision is emerging as Albin Kurti's LVV, which will have minus 3 deputies, while the LDK - 1. And, of course, the beneficiary is the Initiative and the AKR, which will be part of the legislature with six deputies.
Therefore, the future coalition is “narrowed” around with only 57 MPs, down from 62 as total.
However, the decision was made PZAP appears to have prompted reactions by minority deputies, the Egyptian Liberal Party, respectively. The chairman of this subject, Veton Berisha, in a proposal for Indexline has indicated the conditions their community has.
According to him, in the mandate, there will be two deputies from the Egyptian community. Therefore, Berisha says the final requirement will be for this community to have a ministry, otherwise will say “O” Kurt.
“We will ask to be given a denied right by all governments so far. Never until now has the Egyptian community been given any opportunity to lead certain ministries. Now we are also agreeing with deputies from other communities to get support for leading a ministry from the Egyptian community”, he has indicated.
Furthermore, Berisha stressed that they are waiting from the mandate to reflect on the realisation of this constitutional right, where non-party communities are equal in Kosovo.
“... otherwise we will have no reason to be part of the” government, he declared.
Otherwise, LVV will have 29 deputies, LDK 28, Kadri Wessel's PDK will be removed from an MP and will remain 24 seats.
And, AAK- The PSD is removed from an MP, the coalition remains 13 seats. The Serbian List has changed nothing, as in the Assembly it will be represented by 10 deputies.
