The incident that took place more than a year ago was launched by a television channel.
Channel 13 had reported that the Palestinian man had been banned until he tried to enter Israel from the occupied West Coast area. In what appears to be a video camera phone published Saturday evening, the unidentified man was ordered by a border police officer to leave.
It is seen leaving with its hands raised high until Israeli officials shout at “Ik” in Arabic, writes The Guardian, renders Periscopi.
After about 20 seconds, he gets shot in the back, then he screams at him with pain and collapses on the ground. Officials later return and leave
According to the channel that quoted the police, the man in question was not seriously hurt. Police often use rubber bullets as a tool to disperse goalkeepers. However, these bullets can kill if shot in the head, as had happened in 2007 protests in Kosovo by Romanian police.
Israel's Justice Ministry said Sunday it had held four hearings in the case.
Police said in a statement that the woman had left the post as soon as the incident was detected in question. /Periscope
