The municipality's deputy head, Faruk Mujka, director for Geodeze, Kadast and Property, Hysen Muzliukaj, Culture Director, Youth and Sports, Tafil Peci, officials from the Urbanism Directorate and Public Services, representatives from the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, as well as authors of the project.
During this meeting, representatives from the MKRS and project designers have presented the major project for the renovation of the stadium “Adem Jashari”, which will cost over 12m euros. The project envisions the overall renovation of the stadium, public parking lot, VIP parking lot, media parking lot, resorting park, other auxiliary areas, as well as space for guest fans.
According to Sports Department Director Iber Alaj, the stadium “Adem Jashari” from category 2 will be passed into category 4 under regulation U n EFA and FIDIC, thus enabling our representative to hold official and international matches.
In this case the mayor of the municipality, Agim Bahtiri, offers his full support in implementing this project, carrying out all municipal procedures, as well as the release of property, in order to start the work as quickly as possible and create the most modern conditions for our athletes.
