On Tuesday the American Senate adopted the resolution on lighting up the murder of the Bytyci brothers.
The president of the Republic of Kosovo, Hashim Thaci, has also welcomed this.
He in a post has said it testifies to the delays Serbia is making in condemning the guilty for killing the Bytyqi brothers from the Serbian state apparatus in 1999.
Thaci added that for Kosovars this decision by the friendly state of Kosovo is encouragement to continue seeking justice for all victims of the Serbian regime in Kosovo.

I welcome the adoption of resolution “Bytyqi” by the US Senate, expressing dissatisfaction with the delays Serbia is making in condemning the guilty for killing the Serbian state apparatus by Bytyqi brothers in 1999. This enables the issue to be put off in the highest instance of the US, but it also shows that when Kosovo is questioned, the US is one, without party differences. For us it is encouraging to continue seeking justice for all victims of the Serbian regime in Kosovo and that justice for the Bytyqi brothers will finally be put in place. HTH
