Smart women get nervous faster

Many believe that one of the greatest dangers to guard against is an angry woman, and in some cases we cannot even blame them. However, as the story of Santippa, the zealous wife of Socrates teaches us, we have much to learn from a woman with humor [...]
A study by the University of New South Wales revealed that women with the greatest tendency to be angry demonstrate greater intelligence and the ability to argue.
The subject of the investigation was the impact women's bad moods can have on other aspects of their lives and personality.
Researchers then introduced a different pattern of women for negative and positive incentives, first using different films for this purpose, then placing them in multiple contexts where they were invited to express themselves, give answers and select situations.
Through these steps, researchers concluded that those who were more easily angry and generally manifested a bad mood managed to overcome tests better, providing correct answers and identifying the most effective solutions, and not alone.
In fact, they also demonstrated that they had a better memory and a more refined ability to argue.
According to Joseph Forgas, professor who led the study, the reason is the following: the poor situation improves attention and arouses more concrete and deeper thoughts, encouraging information processing during periods of tensions and difficulties.
On the contrary, the most positive and pleasant women, regardless of optimism and will, found it more difficult to overcome obstacles, memorize data, and work out solutions.
So if the results of this study allow women to reevaluate their bad state, they should not be taken as an excuse not to try to improve it: Remember better that anger fuels destructive behavior over the long term and is certainly not so kind in the eyes of others.
