Based on a series of expenses the Ministry has provided “to the Cohaere<1> following a request for access to public documents, for less than two years, Limaj's visits abroad have cost the state budget about 30 thousand euros, 15,001.32 euros in 2018, while another 14.057.25 euros this year. Much of this is spent on feeding during these visits, exactly 8,798.83 euros.
Durim Limaj is senior political adviser and head of the incumbent MTI's cabinet, Andrew Shala. He is the son of incumbent Deputy Prime Minister Fatmir Limaj, who heads the Social Democrat Initiative. This political subject was part of the coalition that has built the outgoing Government, while the preliminary results of the October 6th early elections show it is in danger of reaching the 5 per cent threshold of votes, though it had competed in the election with the New Kosovo Alliance.
