Professor Latifi has blamed Albanians from Kosovo who joined the Islamic terrorist group in Syria [Siri] in the past years that “put the blackest stain on the Albanian nation in the last 100 years”.
Furthermore, Latif has stated that it must be long before this stain is forgotten, writes Periscope.

We remember that about 400 Albanians from Kosovo had joined the terrorist group between 2011 and 2016. A few months ago, Kosovo decided to return 110 of them, most of them women and children.

At least in the last 100 years, there is no blacker spot, which Albanians have placed on their nation, that participation in I SIS. It will be a long time until this stain fades and is forgotten, and we will continue to live with its consequences. Among those consequences is the growing suspicion of the West in our political and cultural capacities to become a European state, with laws, values and mentality.
