Wellsian was photographed with his right arm in the air in a photo posted in the Instagram by Palace midfielder Max Mayer, who is German, broadcast Periscope.
The picture was taken after the Grimsby match, within the third round of the FA Cup.
However, the 31 - year - old man made a tweet explaining that it was not his intention to make a Nazi gesture.
He said he would never do that. As Hennessey claims, he raised his hand to tell his teammate not to take pictures. /Periscopi
