Ferizaj Community: Barbarous slaughter of the rare animal, punishment for the chief task

Ferizaj's Community, the Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry respectively, has reacted to this event through the Association of Hunters “Eagle”, taking information from the ground, has denounced in the Kosovo Police the case of the lynx assassination protected by law in Kosovo, the endangered species and encountered in very low numbers, due to the negative impact of the human factor and the destruction of its habitat, respectively.

Such an act, barbarian, impoverishs our wildlife and risks the eventual disappearance of this protected species. Local authorities as a continuation of co-operation with the Kosovo Police have received the announcement that a citizen has been arrested for the case, a citizen of Ferizaj from the village of Varos, and that necessary investigations are under way, as well as preliminary procedure introduced with the legislation in force”, media reports said.

Ferizaj's community awaits the court's verdict on this case, believing that the judiciary will set the right example in protecting our wildlife and that such cases will not be repeated.

Municipal authorities thank the Hunters Association “Eagle” for engagement and co-operation, the Kosovo Police for the correctness of interaction, as well as all other actors who consist in a way that ferajas citizens are offered a safe and secure environment.
