37 families were grounded but still homeless in Obilic

About 37 families of the Roma and Ashkali communities have bought from two golds of land in the village of Plemetin in the municipality of Obilic.

Qamil Gashi indicates that his brother bought the property in hopes he will build a house there, KTV reports.

So did other family members two years ago when they returned from Skopje, where they had fled during the recent war in Kosovo.

They returned after receiving promises from various donors for building homes.

But their construction has not yet begun, as the Obilic Community has not granted permission for this.

In the Obilic municipality, land there is not destined for construction, as it is agricultural land.
