Former soldier U n CKUE renounces veteran status, says grave words to fraud

Loyally Sheqiri, one of the first Kosovo Liberation Army fighters for the Llap Operative Zone, has given up the veteran's position. He has decided not to take advantage of any of the practices that such a document has been issued to those who have fought but also misused by thousands of material and profitable ones.

Yes, misusing this status by those who have never fought, Besnik Sheqiri has given as evidence that he no longer wants to be part of this distorted list.

He has said he is handing over the veteran's certificate because he does not want to be part and the number of statistics of a completely corrupt, immoral and shameful process.

“KLA side by side with the people, the NATO intervention, before all with God's help. It's naive today after nearly two decades to discuss who's a veteran, it's unprofessional. It was those who were just that it took a month to write them on paper.

The document, with the refusal of all veterans' contributions, has been handed over to the Veterans' Status Knowing Commission, which is headed by former leader KLA, Agim Ceku, who is also accused of fraud with veterans' lists.

Instead of caring for and trying to build a rule of law, rule of law, for the welfare and security of the citizen, for the establishment of morality, we degraded, we slipped from blindness to rob wealth and power, and now we are here where we are in a position where there is trust and honor. And I understand the greed of the voracious, but to benefit in the name of war, in the name of martyrs and disabled, true veterans, this is an injustice being done to history and to generations after us”, Sheqiri wrote.

The reaction of former Kosovo Special Army Unit soldier comes days after a prosecutor, Elez Blakaj, fled to America after setting up an indictment against former war leaders for fanning veterans' lists.

The Kosovo Liberation Army was established in the 90th years to fight Yugoslavia's power and Slobodan Milosevic's regime. So far some figures have been cited as how likely participants in the war. It has been said that there were 13 thousand, 15, 20 and there were 60 thousand people on paper. The retired and fleeing prosecutor in America has said 20 thousand of them are deceptive and damage to the state for nearly 40m euros a year.

Faithful Sheqiri says he is giving up just because the sacred status of the true warrior has been misused. We failed to defend the values of war by giving illegal and immoral wealth priority, hungry for money and power, we have not left a principle without violating it.

“So as a member The NLA, lined up in time and place where it should be listed, as well as fellow fighters, in sign of revolt, gives up being a veteran KLA fighter, as well as any occupation that would flow from this status to a completely corrupt process. So I don't want to be part of these” statistics, writes Sheqiri, currently a lawyer.

Faithful Sheqiri was among the first KLA members in Kosovo and Llap. He has shown what he swore when he entered the war with soldiers who gave their lives for Kosovo.

I have sworn in the war that my whole life will work for this country. That oath lies behind me today, even tomorrow, until the soil covered by our friends”, says Sheqiri, whose father has been a political convict for seven years by the Yugoslav regime, a political process of evidence of some Albanians who now call themselves patriot.

The leader, who had worked for more than 17 years in the Kosovo Police, has said that these very collapses and others have created depression and uncertainty among citizens. He has said corruption, nepotism, organised crime has contaminated the state in opposition to the ideal of the KLA's warrior.

Our cause was the war for Freedom. We've put people in a depression and institutional uncertainty, we've created an environment completely contaminated by corruption-this wasn't our ideal. Despite this, Besnik Sheqiri has said he will not accept any benefit for fighting but will hold the seal of the KLA soldier in his heart.

Sheqiri's letter directed to the Veterans Status Recognition Commission:

Following closely and with concern the recent developments regarding the verification of the KLA war veterans' lists, and believing that the whole process has been followed by numerous irregularities and problems with noble intentions, in the sign of revolts I faithful N. The leader from Podujevo with KLA veteran status, from ZOL with No.protocol 21/2644 of the 1708.2015 government Commission for the recognition and Verification of the Status of the Nation Witness, Invaldi, Veterani, Pjetan or KLA Interventor, and signed by the chairman of the commission Mr. Agim Ceku, I declare that with my own free will and without pressure, I voluntarily hand over my veteran's certificate, and” from the same commission I ask to clear me of the evidence, and finally give up on the status of the veteran and any profession that would flow from this status”.
