Clocks in the Champions League this year will copy those of the League of Europe.
In previous years, matches in the European race began at 20:45, with the exception of matches held in Russia.
But this season, the games will start at 18:55 and 9:00. At the early hour two matches will be held, while the remaining six challenges take place at 9:00 in the group stage.
Barcelona and Tottenham are the first teams to play on the new 18:55 schedule, as they play towards P SV Eindhoven and Inter respectively.
But why have the schedule changed?
U n EFA hopes more fans will now be able to watch the matches due to various hours.
And fans in Australia and Asia, an 18:55 hour, will watch the match start at 00:55 instead of 2:45 in their country.
