Haradinaj, announced Senator Cotton's priorities for the Government, with particular emphasis on strengthening the security sector in Kosovo and completing this vital infrastructure for the country.
“Kosovo is ready to have its army and ready to have peace positions anywhere in the world as part of the US-led international freedom missions”, Prime Minister Haradinaj said.
Senator Cotton was also informed of government priorities, with the main focus on economic development, rule of law, fulfillment of the European agenda, as well as on empowering democratic institutions.
Prime Minister Haradinaj expressed gratitude to the Government and the citizens of Kosovo for the irreplaceable support the US has given in all periods, seeking further support for the processes the country is going through.
Kosovo and its people will continue to maintain friendship with the United States and we will never forget what the United States has done for us in the most difficult times of our lives, said Prime Minister Haradinaj, expressing the Government's commitment to deepening further co-operation with the US.
US Senator Tom Cotton praised the achievements in Kosovo during these years, stressing further US support for Kosovo. The meeting with US Senator Tom Cotton was conducted under Prime Minister Haradinaj's official visit to the United States, as part of the government agenda to strengthen bilateral relations with the US and intensify efforts for the country's international consolidation.
