In the summer, Barcelona was interested in the Netherlands' representation, but the Catalan offer had not convinced Ajax leaders to allow the departure of their leading player.
Now in the Netherlands, Ajaxi has set the price of leaving De Jong. The team from Amsterdam wants nothing short of 75m euros to let the 21-year-old go.
Besides Barcelona, interest in De Jong has also expressed Paris' Real Madrid Saint Germain.
