In panic Nasim Haradinaj and the veterans' organisation: Drenica veterans protest on 3 September

Individuals of the Drenica Operative Zone have warned protests about the removal of false veterans from the list of pension beneficiaries.

Organising the protest of the veterans of 113 Muj Krasniqi” on September 3rd is due to threats the former Blackaj prosecutor received during the investigation of the case.

Faik Zogaj from the Drenica area, which is one of the organisers of this protest, has confirmed to KALLXO.com that the reasons for the protest are, the removal of lists, the resignation of Lumez and the release of former KLA commander Sylejman Selimi.

According to Zogaj, in his village, Moleqan are 70 false veterans, who had testified to the former prosecutor Blakaj, where he had proven it.

“Seeing the latest development being made manipulations by the Prosecutor until the judiciary. We, veterans of the Drenica area have staged protests. We seek to clear the list of fake veterans, the resignation of Chief Prosecutor Alexander Lumuz and the release of General Sylejman Selimit”, he said.

The warned protest will not join the War Veterans Organisation.

We have not received OVL support, but we have support from NGOs, civil society”, Zogaj said.

The protest will be held on Monday, September 3rd at Skenderbeu Square in Pristina, by 11:00.

Meanwhile, Nasim Haradinaj, OVL deputy head for KALLXO.com, said they do not support this protest, as in their opinion the protest initiator does not represent the Drenica region,

“It does not represent the Drenica region, two three can't represent, it is called on to prevent investigations and create a “anarch”). This is the organization of veterans, all the branches we have, in Drenica and anywhere, in neither is this protest organized. Individuals can do whatever they want”, Haradinaj said.

The retired prosecutor, Elez Blakaj, had identified about 2,062 false veterans, 148 war deserters, in the Drenica region.
