This has been said by office chief for Kosovo in the Serbian government Marko Djuric, during an interview on Serbian public television.
According to him, Serbs have no reason to worry.
“Those who are spreading dezinforms are not working in the interest of our state, but in the interest of Pristina”, he has reiterated, alluding to statements by the Serbian priest-in-chief of the Decani Monastery, Sava Janjiq, who has said that on August 5th Serbs are expected to declare autonomy and will then intervene with the armed forces.
The EU's declaration of calm has prompted Serbian officials to ease their statements that they will establish the AKS unilaterally unless such a thing does Kosovo as agreed in Brussels.
On Friday day, even Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vucic, has written an open letter to Serbs living in northern Mitrovica, calling for calm, and reassuring them that Serbia will preserve their lives.
These reactions of top Serbian state officials come after numerous reports, that the situation in the north could be exacerbated, if any action of a partial is taken to establish the AKS by the Serbian side.
Prime Minister Haradinaj, on Friday, has gathered security leaders to analyse the security situation in the country.
With an operational order Kosovo police have stopped taking its uniformised members on vacation.
