Another severe earthquake has struck Indonesia, just two weeks after the last earthquake in which 460 people died. The 6.3 magnitude quake struck the island of Lombok in Indonesia. Seismic fluids were at a depth of seven miles [7 km] underground.
It is not yet known if there are victims. Residents said the quakes were strong, and many turned out on the street, abandoning their homes.
Indonesia is a place often hit by earthquakes because it extends to the “Fire Ring”, the line of frequent earthquakes and volcanic eruptions surrounding almost all parts of the Pacific.
