The research noted that foreigners who have lived through Russia during the World spent about $1.5 billion in this country.
Meanwhile, at the Championship in 2017, foreigners spent 700 million dollars.
The research does not include tickets and expenses in hotels that have stayed in the period in question.
The number of foreign tourists in the cities where world's 2018 matches are played Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sochi, Yekaterinburg, Saransk, Rostov, Kazan, Kaliningrad, Samara, Volgagrad, and Nizhni Novgorod has scored 15 percent growth, while local ones between 20 and 25 percent
