“Europe will not be allowed to be threatened by American President Donald Trump. Because if we allow this once, then we'll face this kind of behavior more often”, Heiko Maas stressed in a Twitter post.
“No one has any interest in customs duties, because in the end everyone will be losers”, he underlined, while Germany and its commercial challenge has often been the target of American criticism.
