Povetkin twice has proved positive in doping tests using prohibited substances. But he will challenge Joshua to defend the champion title in Wembley on September 22nd, British medium “Metro” broadcast Periscope.

“I don't see doping as a way of making myself better, if a person is in good condition it's been achieved because of his hard work, and you won't need doping”, the British boxer added.

“Share it, doping, being banned, legal hazards or someone who is better than you at one evening, give respect and continue”.

As for Povetkin, he dismissed concerns about his past and said he was cleared of any wrong action.

“I was justified”, Povetkin said.

I know I'm clean. I know I was clean when I came back since then. I don't know what happened, but at the end of the day, all I can say is that I was accused of doing something wrong”.

And Joshua said he did not want to be a voice of war against doping in boxing.

“Muhamed Ali was a fighter for human rights and Vietnam, he was an incredible warrior but the cause of that is that they came after him and made him”./Periscopi/
