Former Prime Minister Sali Berisha has requested from the chairman of the state's High Control, Bujar Leskaj, to call Edi Rama as “ajedidt” and ministers as “hedutes”.
That statement, Berisha made after Leskaj read the KLSH annual report in the country. But the former prime minister said it has been confirmed that Rama and his government have stolen 1.2 billion euros from Albanians.
“Next time, remember to go to a thief and head over here. Pronouncing Albanians with original signed documents and sealed by this majority, that any epithets can wear, at the top of that archheedus there, did you address in your speech, you humiliated thieves who stole 1.2 billion euros from the poorest Albanian citizens, yes? If you went to Mit hat Frasher, you went to the truth and that truth would force you to address only in this way those who have robbed Albanians 1.2 billion euros in concessions, tenders, and that is not given to the opposition, but given to the central institution of state accounts.”, Berisha said yesterday.
He has accused the finance minister of changing the law for the game of fate, in order to reduce the brother of Prime Minister and Fatmir Xhafaj's brother.
“Do you know that these have brought law into the Parliament concerning Ols and Geron? It means that for the games of fortune, the tax is reduced three times. The amendment of the law lowers the tax on Geron and Ols from 80 %s of their winnings, now it will not get 50% out of 80%, but it will only get 20%. So, it sits four times the fat of the game of fate. This is the law. Grace Cani, for whom I have absolute disconside, but at least he showed character and refused to sign such a law, but he signed it with boots.”, Berisha said.
While in the Assembly Hall, the minister of Finance replied: <x0... But Bujar Leskaj has responded to Sali Berisha's statements, stressing that he is only the “auditing and that he is not allowed to make politics”.
“Your Honor and dear doctor, I think KLSH and I have done the audit work. We cannot cross those lines that the law does not allow. We auditers don't make politics, we audit policy implementation. If I, as chairman of the KLSH, were to move through this area, I would boost the independence of the institution”He said yesterday, Leskaj. /PANORAMA
