Dalic was born on October 26, 1966, as a football player he played midfielder. He was born in Livno, Bosnia and Herzegovina, but he lives and works in Croatia and has Croatian citizenship.
After completing his career as a player in 2000, he is named assistant coach in Wartex. From May 2002 until 2005, Dalic worked as sports director of the Vartex club, while during the 2003-04 and 2004-05 season, he was assistant coach Miroslav Blazevic, writes Periscopi.
In May 2005, he leads Vartex's team, and in the first season, the club from Croatia's First League took third place.
In the summer of 2007, after completing the contract with Vartex, he becomes manager of the HNK Rijeka club, and in 2007-08 season ends up as fourth in Croatia's First League.
