The 24-year-old girl from Belgium has qualified to among the top 16 after defeating the world's number one, Spanish tennis player Garbye Muguruza, while in the first round, she defeated Annette Countet.

She made public in March her homosexuality, which in Wimbledon, after defeating Mugurusan, kissed 20-year-old partner, Greta Minnem.
