Social Democratic Party Deputy Chairman Wisar Ymer has said the country's President Hashim Thaci is not the right figure to lead the final dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia.
As far as the negotiating team has commented on, Visar Ymer said Hashim Thaci does not have the ideal points to be the leader of the dialogue, Kosovo reports.
The attributes a person must have to be the leader of Kosovo-Serbia dialogue is to have both authority and the opportunity to join political forces in the country. To have political and moral integrity and to have proven that it does not escape domestic institutions”, Ymer said in Zone B in Klan Kosova.
“Don't you know which of these criteria does Hashim Thaci meet today? ” said Ymer.
It has not had sufficient political and moral integrity. You know how much he's been kidding about the dialogue. It has not proved that it does not escape institutions, nor does it have the potential of authority to unite political forces in the country”, he stressed.
Maybe none of them is ideal, but this too should be a topic of discussion for everyone and the Civil Society, for platforms and who can be the best to run this” platform, Ymer explained.
“Vot votes in the country to mandate anyone for dialogue with Serbia gives political power. If all parliamentary forces support a certain person then this person is powerful”, Ymer said.
The Parliamentary Republic's “is extraordinary because we haven't seen it yet. The Assembly is so helpless to the presidency”, he concluded.
