A journalist from Serbia has special confession about the murder of Oliver Ivanovic in Mitrovica.
Stefan Cvetkovic, says he is investigating the case now and many months and that the facts lead to the Mafia in northern Kosovo.
Says they came all the way to the new evidence around
We have no doubt proven that there is direct connection between the burning of Ivanovic's car before the elections and his own execution. Our data says it is about the same persons who have committed the acts and are the officers, he told Klan Kosovo.
In fact, statements like these have put him at risk.
He claims that a few weeks ago he was kidnapped by men in masks near his home in Vojvodina, where they held him for 30 hours.
But Serbian authorities have said they are investigating the whole event by not trusting Cvetkoviki's version.
Returning to Ivanovic's case, he says the facts show the mafia in northern Kosovo has a finger on all that happened on January 16th in Mitrovica.
“We're dealing with strong criminal structures in every way. Of the high amounts of money they benefit from other resources, unfortunately, their contacts show that corruption has made its own. They have aides and people who provide information from the very structures that need to be investigated, he added.
Serbian journalist here speaks to the Kosovo police in the north, where he claims there are police officials from the low level of management that are closely linked to the mafia.
“There are some people who allegedly have links to the liquidation of Ivanovic. These people are on the list of fugitives from several state bodies in Serbia. They move from territory to territory. The same ones in northern Mitrovica live freely, Cvetkovic said.
This testimony he will give to authorities in Kosovo on Thursday.
With Kosovo authorities, the journalist had had had the opportunity to meet even at the Jarinje border crossing on May 19th, where he was held for several hours.
Serbia, which already has 24-hour protections in Serbia and Kosovo every time it comes, said Belgrade authorities have refused to take into account his information on the Ivanovic case, saying they do not have power in Kosovo.
