Harvey Weinstein pleads innocent of charges of rape and sexual abuse

Each charge against him has a minimum sentence of 25 years in prison.

Weinstein has spoken briefly before the court today, reports the British newspaper “The Guardian”, answering court questions about the charges against him.

Weinstein is being protected in freedom after he paid a $1 million caocion not to be detained until his judgment was concluded.

One of the victims he had accused, but had not been identified in public, has told the prosecutor that Weinstein had violated him in a hotel room.

The other victim, actress Lucia Evans, had gone out publicly and had declared Weinstein was forced into an oral sex in exchange for a role in 2004.

Multiple photographers and media were waiting outside the courtroom today for the popular filmmaker to get access to his face after the trial.

But Weinstein appeared quietly and denied all charges against him.
