Family of young people killed dissatisfied with punishment: This is not over

The trial panel at the helm with Judge Shadije Grguri has declared the trial by which accused Lulzim Idrizi has convicted him and has pronounced the same sentence unique to 20 years in prison.

The defendant has been sentenced to 19 years and 6 months in prison for the criminal crime, while for the other work, illegal possession has been pronounced one year in prison, so in total the Court has pronounced him a unique sentence of 20 years in prison.

According to the trial, the whole problem had begun about a debt that accused Lulzim Idrizi had owed Eron Agaj, where because of the money the accused had not returned to the late man Eron Agaj, he had taken his car from the accused's car, which had been owned by the accused's sister.

After the pressure that the late had put on the accused so that he could pay back his debt, on the critical day the accused had called the two young men and invited them to come to the City Park to discuss the debt.

After the two young men had gone there on a motorcycle that had been leading the late Arian Gashi, they had just arrived at the scene of the incident the accused had shot at two young men with whom Eron Agaj had changed his life on the scene and Arian Gashi at QKU.

Lulzim Idrizi in detention will also be accounted for in custody since 19 November last year.

In the case of plead, the Court has instructed the damaged parties to turn to civil disputes for wealth.

Indictee Lulzim Idrizi is obliged after this act takes on a formal form, to pay the judicial paushal worth 200 euros.

After declaring the act of prejudice, harsh reactions came from family members of the two deceased who were dissatisfied with the Court's decision.

They reacted by viewing as unjust and small the sentence the Court pronounced on the accused -- the sentence they considered to be “turp” of the Court.

Even among the families there were reactions of kind like “This is not over!”

In the case of the sentence's proclamation, the chairman of the court, Shadije Grguri, stated that during the trial, all claims of the indictment filed by the prosecution have been confirmed.

Lulzim Idrizi, a citizen of Albania, from the day the event occurred until November 19th, when she surrendered to the police, was on the run.

On November 19th that year, suspect Idrizi surrendered to the police until the next day, November 20th, the same was assigned the detention measure by the Constitutional Court in Pristina.

During the final address, both the prosecutor and the parents of the deceased had asked the court to declare the accused guilty and to punish him with the ultimate sentence by law.

According to the indictment, Lulzim Idrizi with August 29th of 2016 in Pristina on the “Hamez Jashari”, due to a disagreement over a debt with now the late Eron Agaj, after the late Eron went to the engine of the late man Arian Gashi, who himself led the late Arian, in order to negotiate the debt.

At that moment, the accused Lulzim Idrizi says, on purpose that the same life-responsive, has shot at them with firearms, hit them several times through different parts of the body, causing them serious bodily injuries, the cause of which late Eron Agaj has died at the scene while the late Arian Gashi at QKUU.
