While the Serbian representative said Serbia would never recognise Kosovo, primarily harsh reactions by Kosovo Deputy Prime Minister Hoxhaj, and American foreign policy expert David Philips.
Hoxhaj said Kosovo is an independent state, and for that there is no and there will be no going back. He stated that when he is listening to the adviser to the government of Serbia is having a problem with the time concepts.

At one point, Hoxhaj started making fun of the Serbian adviser, asking him that “we are here in the British Parliament or in some coffee shop in Belgrade, since you're talking as if you were drinking some slivovica in advance”.

Hoxhaj said normalising reports with Serbia could only happen with mutual recognition and Kosovo membership in the UN.
