This is when armed police killed a terrorist suspected of killing three people, including two police officers, in the Belgian town of Leeg.
The man, as foreign media write, is thought to have attacked the two officers from behind with a knife before taking one of their weapons and killing both.
A third victim was shot at the passenger seat of a parked car, and two others were injured in the incident.
The suspected terrorist then entered a high school where he took a woman hostage.
Meanwhile, several images have been published showing police taking positions behind parked cars near the school entrance.
And when the alleged assailant comes trying to escape with a gun pointed at in their direction, officers respond with a hail of bullets.
The attacker, as foreign media write. It is understood that he was released yesterday, approached two female officers from behind, and stabbed them several times around 10: 30 local time.
He was later identified as Benjamin Herman, 36, a violent drug dealer who was released Monday from a local prison in which the prison allegedly was also “radialised”.
