In Kosovo, MPs only make their salaries worse, in Poland

The Polish Parliament voted yesterday a 20% reduction of MPs' salaries to prevent the advance scandal caused by major rewards the conservative government awarded itself. The deputies' salaries were also discussed in Kosovo, but no initiative was ever taken for voting that issue. [...]
The bill, which includes 460 members of the Senate's Lower Chamber, was approved by 240 deputies of the conservative majority.
There have been two votes against and five abstentions, while opposition MPs have not participated in the vote.
The move was announced last month by ruling party leader” Law and Justice” ( PiS), Jaroslaw Kaczynski.
Although officially, he is a simple MP, Kaczynski has been generally considered the author of strategy and most political decisions by the majority leading Poland since autumn 2015.
