Behgjet Pacolli seeks special area for American investors

I have long promoted the idea of economic zones in Kosovo that will attract more foreign investments, bring foreign capital and expertise to Kosovo, and create new jobs for our youth, giving them a brighter future. In the governing mandate 2011/2014 we managed to make legal preparations, but later nothing was done”.

I strongly support the launched idea of creating economic zones and, in this case, with particular emphasis on an area for American investors in Kosovo, which would be a pillar of strategic relations between Kosovo and the United States, and would attract American companies to come to Kosovo”, Pacolli said, via Facebook.

He has confirmed that there are many American companies in Kosovo, and much more can come if conditions are created that make Kosovo more attractive in the region and in Eastern Europe.

I will push the government this idea so that soon we will make the decision to create an economic zone for American investors and organise an Economic-Investing Forum between Kosovo and the United States that would unite the business community of our two countries”.
