Pentagon spokeswoman Dana White said the US and its allies successfully hit any targets in air strikes in Syria that occurred overnight.

I can assure you that we've taken every measure and precautions to hit only what we've been aiming at and that we've successfully achieved any” target, White said in front of journalists, broadcast the Indexline.
She stressed that the US believes it has significantly damaged Assad's ability to carry out a chemical weapon attack.
General Kenneth F. McKenzie told reporters that the initial assessment is that the Department of Defence achieved its goals without being harmed by Syrian air defence.
Syrian defence efforts were inaccurate, in contrast with the US mission, he said.
“We are sure that all our missiles achieved their targets”, McKenzie stressed.
He then added that they are sure that damage to civilians, although they cannot be sure, having launched missiles from Syrian defence they must have fallen somewhere.
