Andrew Vorfay of Prizren's village of Plaja had travelled to Turkey to be treated after being diagnosed with brain tumors.
Unable to address and lack of conditions in Kosovo, the family had sought help to send it to Turkey. Unfortunately, the 24-year-old found no cure there either, changing lives on April 24th.
The healing in Turkey did not even find Valdet Zeqiray. The deceased had already been diagnosed with leukemia. The 27-year-old has passed away on March 4th of this year, writes Express.
Thousands of Kosovo patients per year require healing abroad. Almost every week, it is announced by a patient who seeks help to travel outside Kosovo.
The Health Ministry has only paid around 14m euros last year for healing patients in countries like Turkey and in European ones.
Meanwhile, public hospitals in Kosovo face basic shortages to carry out services to patients.
Medical personnel face a lack of drugs, basic medical and saving materials. /Gazzeta Shneta/
