Lack of state care is endangering patients with cyst fibrosis at KKUK

A child diagnosed with cyst fibrosis recently allegedly died as a result of a lack of special space at QKUK for these patients.

The Society for individuals affected by cystic fibrosis has mentioned this case as one of the best - to - be cases in which patients with this disease are treated, writes Koha Ditore.

This concern and other concerns this association has raised before the Commission for Health on Wednesday. They have said that this genetic heritage disease, there are no professional medical treatments in the Republic of Kosovo, and also the drugs it deals with are not included in the essential drug list.
