Kosovo Trust Agency Remains Membership in ENQA

The Kosovo Agency for Discension (AKA) has secured the continuation of its membership in the European Association for the Security of Quality in Higher Education (ENQA). Representatives of the AKA have successfully defended and represented their institution before the ENQA Assembly, its achievements in recent years, steps taken to improve the quality of higher education, as well as the challenges it has faced. The achievements and commitment of the AKA are also appreciated by those present, other European agencies, members of the ECQA, which have supported the ACA's commitment and mission, as well as its independence. The work and performance of the AKA has led the ECQA to fail to make a decision about the evacuation of AKA into this organisation.
The ENQA General Assembly has backed its Board's proposal for placing the AKA as “the citizens under consideration, because of the external assessment that the AKA should undergo a year before its membership is suspended, whose status in the ENQA is until 2019.
The AKA remains committed to being part of European and international quality organisations and structures, while also establishing and functioning it, is based on support and better international practices.
