Adriatic Kelmendi: All parties in Kosovo are empowering Belgrade

Renowned Kosovo journalist Adriatic Kelmendi, in a writing published at the Time portal, has analysed the need of political parties to move to early new elections, writes Periscope.

He has said that neither party in Kosovo currently faces new elections. Meanwhile, political circumstances are such that the Serb List -- with that and with Belgrade -- is empowered even if the Haradinaj government continues with the members of the List inside, but even if it falls with their votes.

Kelmendi says the second option will not happen, not because of principled causes by political subjects in the opposition, The LDK, VV and GDP, but because no political subject would use elections at this time.

Mr. Kelmendi relates to the overall cooperation he has made The PDK and the LDK, and later the current parties in the coalition government with the Serbian List. The power of the Serbian List, and with that of Belgrade in Kosovo, is due to these political parties that through misgovernance, numerous scandals, polarisations and red lines, they failed to reduce the political power of the Serbian List.
