Familys of six jihadists arrested yesterday by Kosovo Police have held a meeting today with Avni Arifin, chief of the prime minister's cabinet, Ramush Haradinaj.
Leutrim Syla, the lawyer of sixgylenists, as well as their family members, are convinced that Kosovo has not yet deported gilens. According to them, they found at one of the two locations; at the “Adem Jashari” or at the Turkish Embassy in Pristina.
While verification of whether they were found at Pristina Airport has been easy and the result has turned out that six gylenists are not there, the search at the Turkish Embassy is complicated.
At a meeting with the Prime Minister's Office, we were told that they were deported, while we asked facts about that even those airport cameras that they're getting on the plane. But they have no evidence that they have been deported”.
“At the airport it was said to have been requested but that nothing has been found.
According to Syla in response to the prime minister's office given to family research at the Turkish Embassy, there are complicated procedures.
We asked why you're not doing a search, they said we'd see how to do it about the procedures after access to the embassy, and at the airport we've checked nothing. At Turkey's embassys they said there are some more complicated procedures, but that we will look at”, Syla said.
Cihan ãozkan, Kahraman Demirez, Hasan Hüseyin Günakan, Mustafa Erdem, Osman Karakaya and Yusuf Karabina, are six people arrested yesterday by Kosovo Police, who are not yet known if they have been deported from Kosovo to Turkey.
Kosovo Prime Minister Ramush Haradinaj, the country's president, Hashim Thaci, and Kosovo Assembly Chairman Kadri Wessel have distanced from their arrest. In this case, the prime minister has demanded the resignation of Interior Minister Flamur Sefaj and Kosovo Intelligence Agency Director Driton Gashi.
