The State Prosecutor's Office confirmed this for Gazette Express.
The “can confirm that the case for the murder of Oliver Ivanovic is already with the Kosovo Special Prosecutor, who is continuing investigations”, says the response to Express.
So far, investigators and Prokuria have issued several criminal charges in the case, but without resulting in any key suspects or arrested in the murder of former deputees and former member of the Kosovo Assembly Chiefship for several post-war legislatures.
Oliver Ivanovic was killed on six bullets, Tuesday morning on January 16th, while walking to the office of his SDP party in northern Mitrovica.
Ivanovic, shortly after the war, became the Serb politician more acceptable to the Kosovo Albanians. For years, the Serb born in Decani, surprised Albanians and Serbs at the same time, until it was against him, EULEX filed the indictment for war crimes and the murder of 49 Albanians, including 20 victims of the Kovacs neighbourhood.
