The central ceremony in Serbia on the occasion of the anniversary of NATO bombings on targets and the Serbian Army has been held in Aleksinac.
The ceremony, called “, will forgive, if we can, we will forget, unless we are at” is held in the presence of Serbian President Aleksandar Vuciq, Prime Minister Ana Brnabiq and Republika Srpska President Milorad Dodik and other Serbian officials.

The ceremony has started in the main square of the city symbolically, turning off the lights and releasing the siren, which warned the danger of air strikes.

Serbia's president, Aleksandar Vuciq, said that NATO in 1999 attacked a small country, but the most proud people who were guilty of existing and saved themselves.

He stressed that on March 24, 1999, it was the most difficult day for the country and the first in the other 78 days of aggression by the largest alliance against a small country in the heart of Europe.

He said 2,500 people were killed by exactly 2,500 hits.

“When there is no guilt and there are only victims left, what is this crime called?”, asked the Serbian president, who was at the time part of Serbian dictator Slobodan Milosevic's cabinet.

The goal of NATO aggression was to kill soldiers, policemen, civilians, to kill Serbia”, he said.

But Vucic did not mention the reasons for NATO's attacks on Serbia.

He did not say a word about thousands of Kosovo Albanians killed, massacred and extinct, which had also led to the boosting of the international sentiment to stop the Serbian genocide of Albanians.

“This crime was justified by calling to dictatorship and the bad people who were in power, but when it was no longer that dictatorship and that people continued to condemn Serbia by driving our people out of Kosovo, dividing Montenegro and recognising Kosovo as a state of”, Vucinic said angry.
