From 2010 to 2016, Kosovo citizens have spent over 25m euros solely on application for the Schengen visa without counting on other expenses to meet the application file.
During this time over 507 thousand applications have been submitted, while about 97 thousand have been rejected.
Kosovo citizens have spent over 25m euros over the past seven years to be equipped with Schengen Zone visas.
But there are no other expenses involved in completing visa documentation, such as photo spending, health insurance, translation services, bank spending, and road spending.
The payment for Schengen visa application differs depending on the embassy, the cheaper is 35 euros, while higher taxes go to 60 or 65 euros, writes away “Sound“.
According to statistics from the European Commission and Eurostat, during 2010-2016 Kosovars have had over 507 thousand Schengen visa applications, which, according to an average estimate, cost more than 25m euros.
Even about 97 thousand of the applications during these seven years have been rejected.
