Albania: Offering visas for England and Canada, destroying counterfeiters ' group

16 people are allegedly part of a structured criminal group, which Fier Police have hit within the framework of Operation “Forca of Law” this Saturday.

According to police, these people in collaboration with each other exercised their activity in the field of counterfeiting and favouring illegal immigration.

Blue uniforms say the investigation has been several months and, at its end, in co-operation with police in Tirana, Korca, Vlora and Berat became the arrest of eight citizens, two have been declared on the run, while eight others are being investigated in a free state.

The group has been suspected of exercising criminal activity in the field of counterfeiting coins, counterfeiting school documents, civil documents, passports, immigration documents, and staying in various countries of the European Union, Canada, United Kingdom, Ireland, and so on.

These citizens were ordered for equipment with forged documents, various persons with residences in Fier, Lusnje, Mallcaster, from the Berat County, Korca and Vlora, against payments ranging from 600 Euro to 12,000 Padund, writes Top Channel.

Orders were taken to extract school documents, passports, residence permits, driving permits, circulation of counterfeit coins, forged documents to various European countries.
