By authorisation of the prosecutor and the Constitutional Court in Mitrovica, IPK and KP investigators have implemented the warrant for raiding in northern Mitrovica on suspicion that two police officials have committed criminal work “Manipulation with evidence” envisioned with the Republic of Kosovo Criminal Code.
Today (10.02,2018) in the afternoon, IPK and KP investigators have implemented the ordinance issued by the Constitutional Court in Mitrovica and raided two locations in North Mitrovica, as well as seized a TT-type gun and two rounds of 9 rounds of .62m calibre serving for further criminal procedure.
Under the State Prosecutor's decision, IPK investigators have arrested two suspects (two police officers in the North Mitrovica police station) and the same have been assigned the detention measure for 48 hours until further judicial procedures continue. It says IPK communiqué.
Kosova Prees has reported that arresting police officers is linked to the murder of Oliver Ivanovic, which occurred in January this year in the country's north.
