Kosovo Football Federation Secretary Erroll Salihu confirmed on Supersport that the new coach's name will be published in the next FFK assembly, held on 2 March.
According to him, with Albert Bunjak's successor being reached precontinently, while formalisation will take place after the Executive Committee is established. Salihu refused to disclose the coach's name, but said he is Swiss.
According to all odds, Kosovo's selective will be Bernard Challandes. The 66-year-old Swiss currently works as “scout” in the Basel team, while earlier was Armenia's selective, from which he resigned in March 2015, just one day after being defeated by Albania in the qualifying cycle of “Euro 2016”.
Challandes is the manager at the Footuro company, which manages 45 footballers, among them 12 Albanians, including Albanian national midfielder Migen Basha
