North Korea has sent equipment to Syria that can be used to create chemical weapons, the American media quote, based on findings made by UN experts.

Materials include acid resistant plates, valves and pipes, the report says.

An unpublished UN document also says that missile specialists from Peniani have been seen at chemical weapons production factories in Syria-Citon New York Times

The information comes after the use of chlorine gas used by Syrian forces, which the government denies.

North Korea is under international sanctions on its nuclear programme.

The supplies are reported to have been illegally sent to Syria. The plates will reportedly be used to create facilities at the site of chemical weapons production.

Five ships were shipped to Syria, via a Chinese firm during the end of 2016 and early 2017, according to the Wall Street Journal.

They pretend to be part of dozens of ships over the years. The government's Centre for Scientific Studies and Syrian Research (SSRC)-agency reportedly has paid North Korea through several companies <x1 regular> ” in front-page coverage newspapers.

A September 2017 report, which has been published, says that two UN member states have seized two shipments for Syria, which were suspected to have been launched from North Korea by export firms as part of a contract with the SSRC.

Representative UN (United Nations) Stéphone Dujaric did not say when the report will be released, but told the New York Times: “I think the general message is that all members of state have the duty and responsibility to adhere to sanctions in power”

The Syrian government reportedly told the United Nations panel that only North Korea has coaching and sports representatives in Syria.

Syria enrolled in the Chemical Weapons Convention and claimed to destroy chemical weapons in 2013 after the sarin gas attack killed hundreds of people in Ghouta.

It has been accused of early use of chemical weapons in civil war since its launch.

The Organisation for the Prevention of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) concluded that sarin gas affecting nerves has been used in at least two provinces last April, in an incident that killed more than 80 people. UN investigators (UN) say the Syrian Air Force was to blame.

The United States struck a Syrian air base in response to this move, but President Bashar al-Assad stood by the idea that the incident was false. Chlorine gas attacks are alleged to have been used recently in Syria, including one in Ghouta East Sunday.

The Organisation for the Prevention of Chemical Weapons (OPCW) is investigating the attacks, according to quotations from diplomatic sources-report the Reuters news agency.

British Secretary for External Relations Boris Johnson is one of the Western leaders who thinks the Syrian government should be attacked if there are again evidence of the chemical attacks on the victims.

Experts say North Korea has provided military support and knowledge on weapons in exchange for money.

Northern Syria and Korea have close military co-operation for decades. Last week US President Donald Trump said Washington was drafting a package of sanctions for North Korea, targeting more than 50 ships and shipping companies in many countries.

North Korea is already under a series of international and American sanctions for its nuclear programmes and nuclear tests. But she continued her tests last year, including an atomic weapons test and a ballistic missile capable of reaching the United States.

The United States says new sanctions have been designed to put even more under pressure from North Korea, cutting off supply sources for its nuclear programmes and preventing the evasion of existing restrictions.
