Serbia's President Aleksandar Vuciq has also commented on the letter US President Donald Trump has sent him.
He said they should continue to seek a solution for Kosovo, “otherwise, bad solutions will find us and send us back”.
Vuciq said Donald Trump's letter about Kosovo speaks three things, and one of them is that the US is interested in resolving Kosovo's compromise problem.
“Letra also shows that throughout the process, the US president has been openly involved for the first time, which means that the large blimp will support the coming of such a solution”, President Vuciq told reporters in Brussels.
Noting that he had read the text in the letter, Vuciq said he did not agree with Trump's assessment that the negotiations between Belgrade and Pristina were in the final phase: “The fact that Trump says we have entered the final phase, I cannot fully agree with that, I don't think we are close to the settlement,<1> said Vuciq and added that Trump's letter shows how interested the US is to come to the solution. According to him, reaching a final solution, the head of the Serbian state said it does not think it will be easy and simple, Kosovo maintains. “But I don't think we have alternatives, but keep talking, because if we don't keep looking for solutions, bad solutions will turn us back”, he said.
