A branch investigation report of Air Accidents (AAIB) found that cabin pedals had been removed from the tail rotor, Periscopi broadcast.
This caused the AW169 aircraft to return uncontrolled to the right before impacting near the King Power Stadium.
The AAIB said investigations into the fall of October 27th are under way.
Leicester's owner, Vichai Srivadhaprabha, two members of his staff, Nusara Suknamai and Kavepon Ponpare, and pilots Eric Swaffer and Isabel Rosa Lechowickz were killed in the accident. /Periscopi
