Messy ends the year with only a negative record

The 51 goals also imply that Messi was the only player to end in 2018 with more than 50 goals, two more than Cristiano Ronaldo, who scored 49 times for Real Madrid, Juventis and Portugal.

Messi has scored 15 goals in La League so far during the 2018-19 season, with 13 coming from his left leg and two others with his right foot.

Last season, 32 of his 34 goals in La League were marked with his left leg, with only two goals with his right foot.
