Cameron Gashi, director of the Information Society Agency, has announced that a cyber attack has occurred today from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina to the electronic addresses of Kosovo institutions, in particular those of diplomatic missions.
He has confirmed that the attacks were successfully prevented, and no damage was caused, Time.net broadcasts.
“Today there has been a cyber attack on the electronic addresses of Kosovo institutions. The addresses of diplomatic missions have been especially attacked. The attack has occurred from Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and a part from Macedonia. All these attacks have been prevented, Gashi said.
Gashi has added that their effort has been to block the institutions' electronic addresses, however without success.
No electronic system of Kosovo institutions has been taken over. So far there's nothing we should be worried about. This is a massive, direct attack by unknown persons and the attack comes mainly from Serbia and Bosnia and Herzegovina”, he has said.
